Lee Ann knows that it’s the little things like thank you notes that are remembered, along with the big things, like conducting in depth interviews for several days in order to understand a client’s culture. She focuses on building relationships, not just completing recruitment assignments. With more than twelve years of executive search experience, Lee Ann has capitalized on her strengths as a senior human resources executive and functional leader to become a strategic partner and consultant to her diverse domestic and global client base.
By forging relationships with a variety of companies, from a new venture in need of additional members for their Board of Directors to the largest global corporations, Lee Ann strategically builds leadership teams across functional and business lines. She also specializes in functional leadership assignments in human resources, finance, sales and marketing, research & development and legal.
Prior to entering executive search, Lee Ann’s career included fifteen plus years in senior human resources positions with world class companies that include DuPont Merck, Frito-Lay, Inc, Marion Merrell Dow, and Peabody Coal. Lee Ann earned her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Truman State University and a Master of Science in Management from Baker University.
Lee Ann is actively involved both locally and nationally with the American Heart Association where she was the Chairman of the Board for Northeast Ohio and is a member on the National Gold Standards Board. She was also on the board for The Gathering Place as well as on the Advisory Committee for John Carroll University Entrepreneurs Association. In addition, she maintains an active role in organizations where she has served as a past board member, including In Counsel With Women and Business Volunteers Unlimited and is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Cleveland. Lee Ann is also the founder of "Conversations With The Board" (CWTB), which is a speaking series that helps promote female inclusion on boards of directors for publicly traded companies.
As an esteemed community leader, Lee Ann is asked to speak locally and nationally on topics of leadership, recruiting and retention, executive development, and women's issues. Recognitions and honors for her accomplishments include an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award finalist, Athena Award recipient, Northern Ohio Live Magazine's Rainmaker Award, National Association of Women Business Owners, Top Ten Award in Northeast Ohio, and most recently being named a finalist for Northeast Ohio's Women of Note.
